Tic-Tac-Toe is what game theorists call a solved game — with optimal play from both sides, the result is always a draw. Our Hard mode plays optimally using a minimax algorithm with full game-tree expansion. You cannot beat it. You can only draw. Easy mode plays randomly. Medium uses a heuristic: win if possible, block if needed, otherwise prefer center then corners. Easy and Medium aren't crippled-Hard, they're entirely separate algorithms designed to feel beatable.
How to play
Place your mark in an empty cell. First to three in a row wins. Three in a row can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.
