Connect Four was solved in 1988 (first player can force a win with perfect play), but the game tree is roughly 4.5 trillion positions, so true minimax is infeasible in a browser. Our AI uses a heuristic evaluator: count threats, weight central control, look ahead 4-6 moves. It's a strong but beatable opponent on Hard. On Easy it makes occasional mistakes you can capitalize on. Two-player local mode is also available.
How to play
Take turns dropping discs. First to align four discs of your color in a row, column, or diagonal wins.
