GerGame ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website gergame.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.

We collect three categories of information:
2.1 Information you provide
When you contact us via email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry. We do not have user accounts, and we do not collect names, addresses, payment information, or other personal data through the website itself.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) and our analytics provider (Google Analytics 4, when configured) automatically receive: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you visit, the time of your visit, and the referring URL. This is standard web log data.
2.3 Information stored locally
Each game on GerGame uses your browser's localStorage to save high scores, game progress, and your preferred language. This data never leaves your device. We cannot read it from our servers. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.
3. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries you send us.
- To understand which games and articles are popular, so we know what to prioritize.
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

5. Third-party services
The following third parties may receive data when you visit our site:

- Google Fonts — typography. Google Fonts may collect IP addresses for font delivery.
- Google Analytics — site analytics, when enabled. We anonymize IP addresses where possible.
- Google AdSense — advertising on catalog and detail pages, when enabled. AdSense uses cookies for personalized advertising. You can opt out at adssettings.google.com.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request deletion of your data.
- Objection — object to processing for marketing or analytics.
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format.
To exercise these rights, email us at hello@gergame.com with "Privacy" in the subject. We respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.
7. Data retention
Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to provide support, then deleted. Server access logs are retained for 90 days. Aggregate analytics data is retained for 26 months (Google Analytics default).
8. Children's privacy
GerGame is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our site, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International data transfers
If you access GerGame from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred internationally. By using the site, you consent to such transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Significant changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 30 days.
